How do I use Cyclobenzaprine?
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Cyclobenzaprine. Inform your pharmacist or doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Do not take Cyclobenzaprine if you are also taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Use of Cyclobenzaprine is not recommended if you are also taking tramadol. If you are taking tramadol, be sure your doctor knows. Additional monitoring of your Cyclobenzaprine dosage may be needed if you are taking droperidol or fluoxetine. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using Cyclobenzaprine.

Follow the directions for using Cyclobenzaprine provided by your doctor. If Cyclobenzaprine upsets your stomach, you may take Cyclobenzaprine along with food. Store Cyclobenzaprine at room temperature, away from heat and light.

If you miss a Cyclobenzaprine dose, and are using it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next Cyclobenzaprine dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two Cyclobenzaprine doses at once.

Do NOT share Cyclobenzaprine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do NOT use Cyclobenzaprine for other health conditions. Keep Cyclobenzaprine out of the reach of children.

Cyclobenzaprine Cautions
Cyclobenzaprine may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Cyclobenzaprine. Cyclobenzaprine will add to the effects of other depressants or alcohol. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants. If you experience dry mouth, try using sugarless gum or candy or gum, or melt ice chips in your mouth. If dry mouth continues for more than 2 weeks, contact your dentist or doctor. Do NOT use Cyclobenzaprine longer than recommended by your doctor.

For Women: It is unknown if Cyclobenzaprine is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be BREAST-FEEDING while you are using Cyclobenzaprine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
